ABOUT MICHAEL BECKER

I\'m a passionate and strategic Senior Product Manager with depth of experience across, technology, banking, and telecom sectors. I have a track record of driving product success, building high-performing teams, and championing the voice of the customer. My career journey has led me through some iconic and innovative companies such as Bell Canada, Scotiabank, Wattpad, and VTS, where I\'ve successfully launched and scaled numerous products and improved user engagement significantly. My journey has exposed me to B2C, B2B, and B2B2C product management in both business and technical Product and Program roles across them all. My strengths lie in a deep understanding of product development and go-to-market, leading cross-functional teams, and executing user-centric design processes. I\'ve been instrumental in leading improvements that increased monthly active users from 70M to over 90M, managed credit card processor migration saving $100M over five years, and overhauled onboarding processes to increase productivity. Efforts at Wattpad were instrumental to the $600M+ exit via acquisition by Naver in 2021. Equipped with a growth mindset, I\'m comfortable diving deep into technology and am not afraid to ask clarifying questions of my engineers, customers, and executives to ensure that problems and constraints are properly understood. My goal is to continuously drive impactful products that solve real-world problems and provide value to the end-users, I do so by leading with a sincere focus on empathy and true collaboration.
