About Mazie Murphy
I am a graduate student in the MSA program at ECU pursuing my CPA license. I recently graduated summa cum laude obtaining my BSBA with a concentration in Accounting. While in undergrad, I was a student in the Honors College maintaining a GPA of 3.98. I held multiple leadership positions across a wide variety of extracurricular organizations. For example, I held positions in one organization’s finance department such as the Vice President of Finance and the Finance Specialist. Within my first four months as the VPF, I brought the chapter’s Passthrough Expense % down from.3% to.04%. In my previous position, I monitored the chapter’s accounts receivable where I improved our average AR % from.37% to 0%. I possess strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, leadership, and problem solving. Additionally, the variety of work experience I have showcases my strong soft skills which set me apart from those with solely technical expertise. I am an achiever, learner, and competitor with the motivation to succeed.
