ABOUT MAZEN SAKR
Mazen is a Principal at AW–ARCH (Anmahian Winton Architects). Mazen has worked extensively on institutional and academic projects that involve complex client teams and critical community components. Recent projects include the Tina & Hamid Moghadam Building at MIT, The Knafel Center Renovation at Harvard University; an architectural installation at Amman Design Week in Amman, Jordan; an office tower in Ankara, Turkey, a private observatory in New Hampshire, and the Community Rowing Boathouse in Boston. Past building type experience includes: university buildings, offices, recreational facilities, and urban planning. Mazen has an M.Arch. from the Harvard University\'s Graduate School of Design and B.Sc. in Architecture and Environmental Design from Kent State University. Mazen is also a Lecturer at Boston University School of Arts and Sciences where he teaches design studios. He has been a visiting critic at several institutions including the Boston Architectural College, Kent State University, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Mazen speaks English, French and Arabic.
