Hello, future employers. I am a Finance major with a concentration in Financial Analysis at James Madison University, class of 2026. I am interested in the area of financial markets, valuation, and analytical decision-making. While completing coursework, simulations, or projects, I was able to gain experience with analyzing financial statements, projecting cash flows, and comparing companies through models of valuation, such as discounted cash flow valuation. My emphasis was more on comprehending the impact of assumptions, risk, and capital structure on value, as opposed to just calculating the results. Outside of the educational setting, I have experience as a small business financial consultant, using my understanding of finance concepts to help small family-run businesses with their budgeting, return on investment analysis, and investment strategies. These, together with my previous customer service and entrepreneurial experience, add to my strength of effective communication skills and financial application thinking.
