About Kelly Fernandi
All aspects of founding and evolving an international museum services company specializing in immersive educational maze exhibits. Personal strengths include creative development, interactive concepts and project management.Goals:1. To continue pushing the envelope on this unique educational medium; to allow visitors to simulate and learn ever more complex systems through individualized adventures.2. To apply this medium to subjects that I care about: sustainability, reduced consumption, the environment, a sane food system, green energy, green building, promoting peace, emergency preparedness.
Experience
President and Creative Director

Why use mazes to teach? Because people are drawn to them and because they work.Mazes provide a compelling themed environment where any subject can be presented and explored through a wide range of programming elements and formats. These formats include free-flow exploration and discovery challenges, sequential or flow chart presentations,\'walk in the footsteps\' life-cycle experiences, and custom programs capable of simulating complex systems (like the water-cycle, conflict resolution, historic events, adaptation/natural selection, pollination, anything). Our exhibits allow visitors to truly get in to the subject - to play a part, to re-enact, to empathize, to understand, to care and finally to emerge with a new perspective - all in the course of a game or adventure that includes a storyline, a mission, and a clear goal. The educational content is weaved into the experience and the learning is simply a byproduct of successful completion. Memorable. Effective. Fun.
