About Mayuri Roy Choudhury
Mayuri holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy from Arizona State University.As a data-driven sustainable energy scientist, Mayuri has special interest in computer programming, data science, agrivoltaics, battery energy storage and safety research, quantitative research, energy economics, Life cycle assessment (LCA) of a product, sustainable energy and environmental policy analysis. Due to her interest, she has taken competitive courses from the ASU school of public affairs, sustainability and the school of engineering. Her experiences describe her ability to undertake a variety of challenging roles. Recently, she worked as a Research Associate in one of the top 30 global business schools, Indian School of Business (ISB). In 2018, Mayuri was also a recipient of the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship from Rutgers University. Furthermore, due to her academic merit she has been offered full scholarship to pursue her PhD studies and winner of the ASU GPSA Grad Slam award for best research pitch idea. While being a PhD student at ASU, Mayuri also received an opportunity to intern with Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), she was also a part of the women in power system transformation program organized by National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) and EPRI.
