Currently, under the supervision of my college professors Dr. Sourav Chakraborty and Dr. Partha Haldar, I am working on a project on the synthesis of functional magnetic nanoparticles and fabrication of magnetic elastomer composite nanoparticles. Magnetic elastomer composite is in high demand in different applications ranging from engineering to biomedical applications. In this project, the work aims to prepare a magnetic elastomer composite by using a chemical route. Here, in this project, we will synthesize magnetic nanoparticles such as Oleic acid-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles by co-precipitation technique to prepare hydrophobized magnetic nanoparticles and then fabricate in an elastomer, and later the characterizations and applications.
