Processed and analysed over biological samples (Serum, Saliva) using the Inductively Coupled Plasma- Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) for heavy metal detection in cases and controls.• Separated blood samples into its respective components of buffy coat and plasma using TECAN FREEDOM EVO platform as part of Cohort, Pilot and Case/Control studies across 8 centres in India. Samples are stored at -80°C before further processing.• Performed DNA Extraction from the stored buffy samples using ‘QiaSymphony’ & ‘Kingfisher Flex’ platforms while maintaining the ideal cycle of thawing.• Ensured optimal DNA purity using ‘Nanodrop’ based on the principle of spectrophotometry.• Normalized DNA samples using Tris-EDTA (pH – 8.0) before utilizing them for genotyping and sequencing.• Quantified normalized dsDNA using Invitrogen’s dsDNA Qubit kits based on the principle of Fluorometry.• Carried out Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) using Illumina HTS Infinium Assay which promotes the use of Illumina Infinium Global Screening Array V 3.0 BeadChip.• Performed Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) using Illumina DNA PCR FREE Library Prep, Tagmentation protocol.
