Currently, I am working as Group-CFO, Marwadi Chandarana Group. Prior to this, I was managing the corporate treasury function of the Cement Business of the Adani Group, encompassing Ambuja Cements and ACC. My association with Adani began in the finance function at Adani Ports & SEZ, where I orchestrated various initiatives such as raising funds through bond issuances, external commercial borrowings (ECBs), bank loans, project finance, and working capital loans. My role also included managing international and domestic credit ratings, overseeing the non-fund-based portfolio (BG/LC), formulating comprehensive finance and risk management strategies, optimizing cashflows, fostering robust banking relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to my tenure at the Adani Group, I dedicated over a decade to KEC International, a part of the RPG Group. During this extensive period, I took on diverse roles, ranging from fund raising and trade finance to treasury and cash management. I contributed to overarching corporate strategies, facilitated mergers and acquisitions, nurtured investor relations, played a pivotal role in new project bidding, implemented critical credit control measures, conducted thorough financial planning and analysis, and provided invaluable support as an Executive Assistant to the Head of the Transmission Line business. In the early part of my career, I worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Edelweiss Capital, where I specialized in covering the Oil & Gas and steel pipes sectors. I commenced my professional journey as an article assistant with Haribhakti & Co, contributing to the statutory audit division.
