About Mayra A. Perez

Ms. Perez has been in the engineering field for over seven years. Her highly motivated spirit and charisma helps her manage employee relations and develop initiative toward her goals and vision. Her strengths lay in her creativity and relationship building skills. She is the first in her family to attend college and earn a degree. Her background as a migrant student and lack of English when growing up is what encouraged her to strive her focus in Math and Science. Her determination and her persistence demonstrated that everything is possible. Ms. Perez received her B.S in Civil Engineering from Sacramento State University and her M.B.A in Business Administration.Her work experience entails of water projects, pipeline design (WSP, CCP, and RCCP), grading and drainage design, transportation design and construction management, fiend coordination, crane studies, rigging studies, erection sequence, pre-pore checks, post-pore checks, and Aside from her years of experience as an engineer, she uses her communication skills to deliver effective mentorship to elementary students, high school students and college students who seek to pursue a higher education. In the Fall 2016 Ms. Perez will be taking the California P.E exam.
