About Mayoor Mohan

I\'m Max Mohan, Associate Dean for Strategic Affairs and Research Initiatives and Professor of Marketing at the VCU School of Business. All three of my degrees (B.S, M.S, and Ph.D.) are from Oklahoma State University.My research focuses on how firms can strengthen their marketing capabilities through B2B strategy, brand strategy, and innovation strategy. I\'ve published in leading journals, received grants from the Marketing Science Institute and other sources, and had work covered by Forbes, Bloomberg, and The Aspen Institute.I also spend a good amount of time in the classroom, teaching innovation and promotional strategy, co-authoring a textbook, and working with student teams on consulting projects. That part of the job matters to me just as much as the research.At the end of the day, I want my work to advance the field of marketing and make a tangible difference for businesses and society.
