ABOUT MAYMIE CHAN
In a nutshell, I am a brain & spine health nerd, and food medicine fanatic. I believe nature and technology hold the keys to understanding the full healing potential of the human body. I love working with people to help them feel better in their bodies, which means bringing together best evidence and clinically-proven methods for both the quick-fixes and the sustainable long-term changes. My favorite tool is education. I get so much fulfillment watching people develop body awareness and their own rituals for self-care. I feel empowered watching people get empowered. I also love learning about the intricacies of the neuromusculoskeletal system. I think this area of research is underfunded, and the far-reaching impact on the individual, on society, and on economy are vastly underestimated. My personal mission is to help people get healthier and feel good in their bodies.
