Being a part of a diagnostic company like Co-Diagnostics during a rapidly developing pandemic was a truly unique experience. The whirlwind that was the early onset of COVID-19 in 2020 marked the beginning of our companies journey, transitioning from a small start up to a major player in our field. During this time, I was working as the Manufacturing Manager, in charge of the manufacturing department at Co-Diagnostics. We can proudly say that we were able to successfully rapidly scale in response to the developing situation of the pandemic, along with customers needs, all while creating our own internal departmental systems and processes.After coming out of the pandemic, Co-Diagnostics pursued new technologies and opportunities that would enable us to continue utilizing our CoPrimer technology, eventually pairing with companies nearby in Salt Lake which were developing a new PCR platform, with the capability of bringing our diagnostic PCR technology to a broader audience. Since this time, I have been working as the Chemical Formulation Manager, developing and running the Formulation department lab, responsible for providing all of the chemical components for the R&D and Engineering efforts.
