I believe learning is most powerful when students see themselves reflected in the story.I am an educator, storyteller, and creative producer with over 30 years of experience across K–12, adult education, and community-based programs. My work blends culturally responsive instruction with storytelling and the arts to create learning environments where students feel seen, supported, and inspired.I began performing at an early age and have worked across stage and film as an actress, dancer, writer, director, and producer. For more than 15 years, I taught performance and expressive arts to students ages 3–18, using creativity to build confidence, communication, and critical thinking—skills that continue to shape my teaching practice.In educational settings, I’ve designed inclusive curriculum, supported multilingual learners and adult newcomers, and collaborated on curriculum teams to strengthen instruction and student outcomes.
