ABOUT MAYCI HARTLEY
While attending Birmingham Southern College, I was surrounded by community involvement and people who wanted to make a difference. While studying sociology and marketing I involved myself in event planning and sorority operations. After graduating I moved to DC and worked at the Capital One Arena for Aramark in their premium services area. This was an amazing experience where I learned how to be a manager, grow up, understand bar and restaurant operations, and how to offer exceptional customer service. After the internship I moved home and have settled into a position at a brand new restaurant. Helping to open the restuarant and being the operations manager has allowed me to learn about what it takes to make it through the first year of being open as well as how to manage a small restaurant.
