Hello! my name is Maya Voorhees and I am a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing at Florida Gulf Coast University. Through my diverse experiences, I have cultivated strong leadership abilities, critical thinking, and a creative approach to problem-solving. Currently, I serve as a Digital Media Marketing and Content Creation Intern for the Florida Everblades, where I develop engaging content, manage digital marketing strategies, and contribute to the vibrant sports industry—a field I am deeply passionate about. Additionally, I work as a Program Assistant for FGCU\'s Health Education program, where I support wellness initiatives, campus outreach, and assist in managing a team of health educators, further refining my organizational and communication skills. I am excited to continue growing in the fields of public relations, digital marketing, and sports marketing while making meaningful contributions to every project I undertake.    Produce original digital content to promote events, drive ticket sales, and elevate the Lenovo Center brand- Manage timely distribution across social platforms while maintaining consistent voice and branding- Build and execute social strategy including event promotion and tour content, venue-wide and promotional campaigns- Capture real-time content on event days: merch, activations, artist moments, fan interactions- Monitor trends and live engagement, provide guest support and community management- Use analytics to measure content impact and guide future strategy.
