ABOUT MAYA SALAMEH
I am a 1L student at UCLA Law specializing in Critical Race Studies, driven by a commitment to racial justice and equity for Arab and other immigrant communities. My legal studies build on a robust background in program evaluation and social policy research. After law school, I plan to work at the intersection of immigration justice and anti-carceral advocacy.I earned an M.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Psychology at Stanford University, where I developed expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Fluent in French, Spanish, and a heritage speaker of Arabic, I have conducted research in all of my languages, including developing my own study on Arab Americans\' experiences with mental health services.
