About Maya S. Horowitz
Mission-driven nonprofit leader specializing in cross-channel marketing and communications strategy. As the Senior Associate Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications for Research, Science and Medical Affairs at the Alzheimer\'s Association, I am proud to advance our vision of a world without Alzheimer\'s and all other dementia. Previously, I directed all marketing, communications and PR activities for the Brain Injury Association of America, including orchestrating the launch of a nationwide public health campaign in partnership with Abbott and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I also led the first-ever integrated marketing, communications and events team at the Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona. I earned my master’s degree in journalism from Stanford University. I am a fellow of Women InPower, a network of female leaders across sectors and industries, and a volunteer for Stanford Women in Mentoring, the William & Mary Admissions Volunteer Network, and the Tucson Jewish Community Center strategic marketing task force. I am an idealist, writer and hopeless Francophile.
