ABOUT MAYANK SRIVASTAVA

I am a seasoned People professional with more than a decade of hands-on experience in various facets of People Operations. For various software organizations big and small, I’ve driven end-to-end recruitment, defined and implemented People policies / guidelines, created document templates, conducted employee appraisals and managed branding through social media. I’ve also founded reputed tech Meetups (Expert Talks, Codewords, TechnoWise) and organized a successful conference (Expert Talks 2015) aimed towards building knowledge sharing communities. Through most of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with tech-savvy, Agile organizations (.ThoughtWorks, Equal Experts, Technogise.) which value openness in their culture, humility in their people and craftsmanship in their work. These values have helped shape my professional perspective. As a Recruiter, I strive to engage with and hire some of the smartest, yet most humble software craftsmen in the industry. I do not look at recruitment as a ‘number game’ and therefore ‘volume hiring’ is neither my forte, nor my area of interest. As a People Lead, I strive to create a culture, which- treats employees with maturity- entrusts them with the flexibilities they need- provides them with tangible & measurable growth opportunities- drives transparent communication between them. I strive to build my company’s brand by espousing it’s values, work, culture, people and vision through multiple relevant avenues; be it candidate conversations, website blogs, social media feeds, meetup communities or even scripting corporate films.
