Mayank has about 25 years of experience working at large companies such as GE, Maruti Suzuki and Jindal Steel and also start-ups such as Ecom Express, Tata 1mg and CarDekho including a short stint at a VC firm. Currently, Mayank is Group CFO at CarDekho Group. In past, he was part of a fast-track premier leadership program in GE wherein he worked across the world in various GE businesses and returned back to India as CFO of 3 of its businesses in South Asia. He helped GE win its largest deal in India, a ~$3B Make in India project with Indian Railways and in past also handled one of the largest income tax cases in India while at Maruti. At Jindal Steel Ltd, he helped enhance rigour on profitability and cash cycle through several new initiatives while financially overseeing ~$5 billion worth of ongoing capex projects to improve overall ROCE and monitor timely delivery of projects.During his start-up stints, he led 1mg’s strategic stake sale to Tata\'s and helped Ecom Express scale up 4x profitably while raising multiple rounds of capital. At CarDekho, he led several strategic initiatives including helping it turn profitable, raised multiple rounds of capital across the group and built a strong governance charter in path to IPO.
