Research and Teaching Interests – Sustainable Clean Energy Systems with reduced carbon footprint, Multiscale, multiphase, multiphysics (M3) modeling using physics-based simulations, Data analytics and machine learning for petroleum engineering applications such as offshore drilling & production operations, geothermal and unconventional reservoir engineering. Highlights Authored/coauthored over 75+ peer-reviewed publications including journal articles, conference papers, and technical reports. Brought in over $8.5M in funded research as principal or co-principal investigator till date. Supervised/co-supervised 32 graduate students to completion (12 PhD, 10 MS thesis, 10 MS project) since 2012. Also, served on 66 completed graduate exam committees at LSU. Taught 10 different courses in PETE curriculum. Developed 3 new graduate, 2 new senior electives- and 2 new undergraduate core- course outlines on the latest industrial relevance topics. Supervised/co-supervised 32 graduate students to completion (13 PhD, 10 MS thesis, 9 MS project). Also, served on 60 completed graduate exam committees. Served as an international external examiner for 3 international PhD dissertations. Delivered 2 short courses at China University of Petroleum, Beijing (CUPB) during 20••••22, and Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG) during 2016.
