About Maya Malhotra Degnemark
In May 2025, I graduated as a Woodruff Deans Achievement Scholar from Emory University, where I majored in Business and minored in Nutrition Science. At Emory, I served as a Student Ambassador & Tour Guide, Senior Advisor for the Indian Cultural Association (ICA), Executive Vice President for the Student Programming Council (SPC), Wonderful Wednesday Moderator & Finance Lead, and worked to publish the Type 2 Diabetes research I completed alongside a faculty member from Emory\'s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. I began gaining experience in the Consumer Products and Food & Beverage space through my work with B.T.R. NATION, an emerging functional snacking company. Over the past four years, I’ve supported the team as a part-time intern across Finance, Marketing, and Sales, and worked full-time during the summer of 2023. In summer 2024, I joined Deloitte Consulting in Atlanta as a Summer Strategy Scholar, and returned to the firm full-time in October 20225 in their New York office. Outside of school/work, I enjoy cooking, running, watching sports, jewelry making, spending time with family & friends in my neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY and yoga!
