ABOUT MAYA CAMERON HODDY
I am a Trainee Solicitor at the Crown Prosecution Service. I am currently on external secondment at Leigh Day in the Industrial Disease team within the Personal Injury department. I assist on claims involving asbestos-related illness, such as mesothelioma and asbestosis, and other industrial diseases cases such as silicosis claims. I am currently scheduled to qualify as a solicitor in October 2026.Before commencing my training contract at the CPS I worked as a paralegal in the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury departments at two Legal 500 firms, where I assisted with specialist claims involving maternal birth injuries, delayed diagnosis, traumatic brain injuries & complex spinal injuries.
