The Dancing Cat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk pets from the San Jose Shelter. In addition to rescue and wellness efforts, The Dancing Cat runs an adoption lounge in downtown San Jose, where people can interact with adorable, adoptable cats.As the Event Coordinator, I assist in creating the schedule of events, brainstorming new events and finding new teachers/performers/workshop leaders, editing copy for special events, and utilizing digital marketing to increase participation in events whose proceeds support this volunteer, and donation-funded venue.
