About Maya Klitsner
Hi, I’m Maya Klitsner and I have a degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Washington. When I graduated, I received the 2020 HCDE Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Innovation for my published paper, STEM Outreach in Underserved Communities through the Lens of Play, Creativity, and Movement which was presented at the 2020 Global Humanitarian Technology Conference. While in college, I interned at Disney World working in the third busiest quick service restaurant in the world learning how to work in an extremely faced paced environment. I also interned at Sandia National Laboratories as a User Experience Research Intern where my focus was primarily on improving the internal websites.I, then, worked at Pacaso, a second home co-ownership start-up. I started back in 2020 and became Pacaso\'s first intern. Since then I\'ve transitioned through many different roles including project management, a brand media/testimonial coordinator, and most recently a sales enablement lead. At Pacaso, I implemented and managed a sales enablement tool and a digital asset management tool used throughout the organization. I\'ve also tripled the number of testimonials on our site and helped coordinate a national brand campaign. I worked on improving our sales enablement tool to eliminate pain points and increase efficiency as well as developing new marketing content to aid the sales team in their jobs.Currently, I work at Sandia National Laboratories as a User Experience Researcher in the modeling and simulation department. I designed test plans and conducted user interviews to improve multiple modeling and simulation software. In my free time, I volunteer at Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary and foster dogs and cats.
