Working at the front desk of a hotel has been an incredibly valuable experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. In this role, I developed strong customer service skills, acting as the first impression for guests from diverse backgrounds. I learned to think quickly on my feet while managing multiple tasks such as check-ins and check-outs, handling phone calls, coordinating with housekeeping, and even assisting with laundry. This role also strengthened my problem-solving abilities, time management, and tech proficiency with various booking platforms and property management systems. Above all, I’ve learned the importance of patience, clear communication, organization, and teamwork, all of which I know will serve me well in any future role.
