As Achievement Coordinator, I partner with the VP of Schools and the California Achievement Team to drive student achievement and build instructional staff capacity across a portfolio of 5–13 schools. My work spans strategy, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistency across the network while adapting to the unique needs of each school community.Key responsibilities and impact areas include: • Strategic Leadership & Project Management – Lead cross-functional initiatives such as professional development, annual planning, and regional progress monitoring. Develop tools and dashboards to track KPIs, and proactively address off-track metrics to ensure organizational goals are met. • Instructional Coaching & Development – Coach school leaders and teachers in priority areas (e.g, close reading, phonics, STEM instruction), analyze student data (MAP, STEP, unit assessments), and facilitate professional development to strengthen instructional practice and accelerate student growth. • Collaboration & Change Management – Partner with regional and national teams to align strategy with execution, facilitate organizational change, and build positive adult culture through cultural rituals and team-wide initiatives. • Resource Design & Alignment – Collaborate with STEM and Humanities teams to adapt curriculum resources, create teacher-facing supports, and ensure instructional materials align with Common Core standards and assessments. • Executive Support – Manage communications, scheduling, and strategic preparation for the VP of Schools to enable effective decision-making and alignment across schools and regions.
