ABOUT MAYA A.

I’m a proud Games Art graduate from Staffordshire University, where I delved deep into advanced creature and character art. My favourite part of the course was the \'Senior Collaborative Games\' module. Teaming up with passionate peers, we crafted a game in just 8 weeks. I created four game-ready characters for our project, and my individual contributions earned me a solid 90/100.I’m incredibly passionate about anything stylised and colourful. I love taking vibrant, expressive concept art and turning it into 3D models. It’s amazing to see my creations and others\' come to life!My journey into art and games started when I was very young, filling sketchbooks with all sorts of doodles after defeating the next boss in New Super Mario Bros. That love for art and creativity has driven me ever since.I’ve developed my traditional art skills over the years, from designing and drawing characters at home to studying at an Art/Design college and taking on the \'Life Drawing\' module at university. These skills have translated into my 3D work, and I now primarily sculpt and create game-ready models of characters and creatures.I still enjoy sketching and designing characters in my free time, but what I love most is bringing 2D art to life using the knowledge and experience I’ve gained at university.I’ve graduated with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and am very excited to start a new chapter in character art. I’m like a sponge, eager to soak up all the knowledge and skills that experienced mentors can share!
