Senior Transmission Planning and Interconnection Manager with over 17 years of experience coordinating transmission planning activities related to the Brazilian interconnected power system and managing the interconnection process for renewables in the U.S, while guiding teams.I have contributed to the planning of more than miles of transmission lines at voltage levels ranging from 138 kV to 800 kV (AC and HVDC), and managed the interconnection process for a pipeline of almost 10 GW. During this time, I have developed my leadership, communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills, and built upon my strengths, which include:• Expertise in transmission planning, with a focus on power flow and short circuit analysis, as well as the interconnection process in the U.S, particularly within the MISO, SPP, and ERCOT marketplaces; • Solid knowledge of electrical system operations and the regulatory framework for electricity services; • Extensive experience in collaborating with partner companies such as the Brazilian Independent System Operator (ISO), regulatory bodies, and energy generation, transmission, and distribution companies; • Strong planning and organizational skills.
