Sou professor efetivo do IFES - Campus Serra, onde ministro disciplinas da área de Sistemas de Computação: Redes de Computadores, Comunicação de dados, Redes de Longa Distância (WAN e TCP/IP), Sistemas Distribuídos e Gerência de Redes.ConsultantAs a consultant I have managed and developed the following projects in Networking and Cloud Computing: • 20••••20: Big Data Architecture for Brazilian National Health System :(role in the project - Cloud Architect)- Achievements:(I) architecture design for Brazil NHS especial Project: the Inception of Big Data in public health in Brazil(AWS: VPC, Nets, Routing tables, Nats, Availability Zones, RDS, S3, EC2,EKS, terraform, CloudFormation).(II) Exposure to Hadoop and Spark environment. • 20••••18 – Vitoria-ES Metropolitan IoT Network Design and Experimental Deployment.(role in the project – Iot Network Tech Leader)- Achievements:(I) designing, and specification of an IoT infrastructure for the Vitoria-ES/Brazil Metropolitan Area.( Spectrum analyzer, Radio mobile Software, LoraWAN gateways and devices, Cloud infrastructure for LoraWAN Software stack);(I) Establishment of the Experimental IoT Network for Smart City in Vitoria Metropolitan Area. • 2015: The Experimental Data Center for Smart Cities:(role in the project – Data Center Architect)- Achievements:(I) design and specification of the experimental Data center (for cloud management and Smart Cities research)(OpenStack platform, Open Day Light, Open Source Mano) at Espirito Santo State innovation, researche, and development Center (CPID-ES Designed and deployed the Federated Research Cloud and DCI Network at Vitoria-ES Metropolitan Area (Multi Open Stacks and Multi Open Source Manos instances integrated).

ABOUT MAXWELL MONTEIRO
I\'m a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering with 18+ years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology industry. My professional experience has been varied, going from traditional hands-on technical roles (in the beginning) through high level positions as an expert in networked and distributed systems. Recently I became a researcher/professor interested about innovative approaches for autonomous networked systems. I\'m a very proactive person with strong hands-on skills, broad experience in networking support and networked software development, and a consistent research skills as well. In 2016 I was a Visiting Research Scholar at University of California in San Diego - Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. My experience as a computer engineering is related with networked and distributed systems, working mainly on the following themes: network planning and design, performance analysis and capacity planning, design and development of high-performance transaction distributed systems, telecommunications network management, network security, conceptual models for Network Management (Ontologies), Optical Transport OTN, and software development for networked embedded systems (Internet of Things). My experience in the Electronic Transaction Software industry gave me an excellent vision of the software development process. I had the opportunity of to act as a ad-hoc expert consultant member (software integration and deployment) of the software process control team in two different companies.As a researcher and former owner of two small technology companies in Brazil, I\'m comfortable with designing and running projects, in the industry or Academia. My latest projects are related to: Autonomous Management for Optical Transport Networks (Computational Ontology), Management of Smart Grid (IoT and embedded systems) and High-performance Electronic Transaction processors (Elastic Clouds and Data centers).centers).
