About Maxon Bowman

Business and Data Analytics is the natural bridge between the soft skills of the business world and the abstract and technical Mathematics and Statistics world, and I believe I can be the embodiment of that bridge. I have a real passion for both sides of the equation. I have the ability to delve deep into data using programs like R and SAP, but more importantly to connect the findings from that to be able to solve business problems. This includes a true enjoyment and lots of experience working with a variety of people from different backgrounds, putting me in a position to succeed with whoever I end up working with.From the time I took AP Statistics in high school, I knew working with data was what I wanted to do. From then on I learned to love to do my own research when good data is available for me to use, whether it be hot button issues that I want to know the raw unfiltered answer to, or whether it be something as simple as making my bracket for March Madness. I simply love finding the conclusions that can be drawn from the endless supply of data we have available to us. School has been my focus for the last 4 years and that has allowed me to be able to complete my undergraduate at a quicker pace than most and jump right into graduate school. Although I have enjoyed this aspect of my journey, I am excited and motivated to share my passion for analytics in the workforce.

Creation of ad hoc, division specific dashboards utilizing multiple sources of data and compiling in Power BI using DAX and Power Query or in Alteryx Designer and Server. Using the agile methodology to create a new culture around iterative solutions with the team, allowing for an improved pace at delivering ready-to-use tools.
