Advise students and alumni individually in all the service areas available including: networking, interviewing, resumes, cover letters, social media presence, internship/job search strategies, LinkedIn, graduate studies application process, salary & offer negotiation tactics and other career development issues. Meet with clients for an average of 5 hours of appointments daily and give average of 3+ presentations weekly. Present workshops to a variety of audiences ranging in size from under 10 to over 150 addressing all manner of career topics including: networking, interviewing, career planning, LinkedIn, resume & cover letter development. Individually construct and administer first destination survey using NACE standards to over 850 graduates annually. Designed branched Qualtrics survey to gather customized data at graduation and six months after yielding average of 85% and 40% response rate respectively. Led UP to 96% knowledge rate for class of 2015. Direct fall accounting on-campus recruiting operations for 10+ public accounting firms including national and regional firms seeking both intern and full time candidates. Organize and set the annual recruiting calendar to highlight deadlines and processes. Communicate requirements, timelines and preparation steps to all eligible students beginning in spring semester. Develop strategically selected partnerships with campus departments to strengthen Career Center awareness and usage through peer to peer promotion by campus influencers. Oversee student employee interviewing, hiring,training and development through monthly all staff meetings in collaboration with the Program Assistant. Provide effective 15 minute feedback to students during express advising hours on any career-related questions.
