We handle a wide variety of business related matters with a strong emphasis on employment law and dispute resolution. In addition to providing common sense, cost effective advice to businesses and business owners, we also work with individuals (doctors, executives, etc.) seeking assistance with the review and negotiation of employment contracts and severance agreements. With 34 years of experience I understand the unique relationship between employers, their employees and the law. I have been engaged by clients to: implement a framework to ensure compliance with the evolving legal landscape; formulate and disseminate policies and practices; oversee a national EEOC docket; conduct FLSA audits and implement a process for classifying employees; manage company wide HR risk review; trouble shoot employee terminations; assist in the redesign of employee performance review programs; create and deliver training on investigations, EFCA and employee leaves; provide advice on the engagement of third party contractors and participate in collective bargaining. I am also a certified civil mediator.
