ABOUT MAXINE FRERK

A senior executive with extensive private and public sector experience, working at board level, with a particular focus on regulatory and public policy issues in the energy sector, helping to drive the energy transition, with a consumer and environmental / ESG focus. After 15 years in Ofgem I am now working as a consultant and thought leader on energy regulation and have a number of board and advisory group roles. I am an independent director on the board of SSEN Distribution and also chair SGN\'s Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Group as part of the RIIO price control process. I am an independent board member at Smart Energy GB and also at the Low Carbon Hub in Oxford. I am currently chair of the Open Networks Challenge Group for the ENA. I am an Associate with the charity Sustainability First and have been a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University.
