About Maximilian Hite
My philosophy is that design’s ultimate goal is to bring forth the unseen by revealing the subtle nuances and overlooked details of our surroundings, transforming the invisible into a visible testament of craftsmanship and connection. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from ages 3 to 15, I later attended boarding school in Pebble Beach, California. I’m currently studying Product Design at Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design in Philadelphia. I have a strong interest in furniture design and sustainability, with a deep understanding of materiality. I often work with wood and steel elements, while also experimenting with newly developed sustainable resources. I’m fluent in English (native) and Spanish.
