ABOUT MAXIMILIAN ABELE

With over ten years of experience in the field of people analytics and experience, I am passionate about driving data-driven decision making, enhancing employee engagement and retention, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture. As the Director of People Analytics and Experience at Flix, I lead two teams that focus on developing and implementing strategies, products, and processes to support our organization\'s vision and goals. I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, and I strive to bring these values to my teams and the wider Flix community.In my current role, I am responsible for overseeing the areas of people analytics, compensation and benefits, HR tech, employer branding, people experience, engagement, culture, and DE & I. I leverage my skills in branding, active sourcing, and strategic thinking to design and execute initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent, and that enhance Flix\'s reputation as a leading travel tech company. I also use my expertise in HR strategy and insights to provide actionable recommendations and solutions to senior management and stakeholders, based on data analysis, research, and best practices. Some of the achievements that I am proud of include launching new HR tech systems, specifically an engagement tool that increased employee satisfaction and loyalty by 20% and reduced turnover by 7%.
