ABOUT MAXIME BAELDE
As a Data Scientist, I am mainly concerned with optimizing sales performance and decision making by developing and maintaining forecast algorithms, backtesting and implementing new models, and adapting existing workflows. I use Python, GCP, BigQuery, GCS, AI Notebook, Airflow, GitHub, and Git as my main tools and technologies. I also have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, where I focused on generative models for real-time audio source classification and separation. I have published and presented my research at international conferences and journals, and I hold two patents related to audio analysis. In addition, I am a music producer for the band Fracton (https://fractonband.bandcamp.com/), where I create original songs in the post-metal, progressive metal, alternative metal, and instrumental genres. I record, mix, and master the songs, and I play guitar, bass, piano, and programmed drums. I am passionate about combining my skills and interests in data science, mathematics, and music to create innovative and impactful solutions.
