Strengthen CMA\'s commitment to and involvement in our community by engaging diverse audiences centered around the Museum Mission to “educate, excite, and entertain\" through the discovery and exploration of art. • Enhance the Museum\'s role as a cultural cornerstone of Canton and Stark County through creative, dynamic exhibitions of American and related art; growing, reimagining, and sharing our Permanent Collection; and increasing our role in education with inspiring in-school and in-Museum programs.• Ensure broader access to the Museum and to art that helps audiences “connect art to life,\" including interpretative programs, youth and family events, and digital connections that remove barriers.• Forge partnerships and collaborations with local, regional, and national cultural organizations to increase our impact and extend our reach in our community and beyond. • Develop fundraising, investment, and financial strategies to expand ongoing programming and provide long-term care and growth of the Museum.• Energize Canton, Stark County, and surrounding communities to utilize the Museum as a cultural resource for art that sparks conversations and inspires imaginations.• Team with regional museums and other arts organizations to promote a Northeast Ohio “Arts Corridor” - Massillon, Canton, Akron, Cleveland, and beyond.• Sustain excellence and “best practices” aligned with American Alliance of Museums Accreditation.• Be recognized as a vibrant contributor to cultural tourism and economic growth in Canton and Stark County.
