The Ben Franklin Fellowship (BFF) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan community of current and past State Department employees and foreign affairs practitioners who support traditional, Constitutional American values in international affairs. The BFF network consists of Fellows and Members, who are all foreign affairs professionals united in agreement with the BFF\'s Foreign Policy Guiding Principles. Our community brings together Foreign Service Officers, Civil Servants, political appointees, scholars, and reform-minded leaders to challenge the status quo and build a new generation dedicated to America first diplomacy. BFF\'s initiatives include: • The JUNTO Podcast – Candid conversations with government officials and policy experts advancing reform and a return to a U.S. national interest perspective • The JUNTO Speaker Series – Live special events connecting diplomats, policy experts, national security officials, and Congressional leaders • The JUNTO Achievement Awards – An initiative to recognize diplomacy that advances U.S. interests, defends America\'s borders, and promotes our values • The JUNTO Recruitment Initiative – A program to recruit new young leaders from underserved communities and states into government careers in diplomacy and national security We are inspired by the spirit of Benjamin Franklin’s original “Junto” discourse club — a gathering of citizens committed to knowledge, patriotism, and public service. As America approaches its 250th anniversary, BFF is leading a revival of those ideals — uniting professionals and citizens behind a renewed vision for U.S. diplomacy.
