Leading the global Response Innovation Lab initiative on behalf of our institutional partners (World Vision, Save the Children, Oxfam and Civic). Responsible for the continued growth, iteration and scale-up of our unique model of response-level humanitarian innovation ecosystem-building and open brokerage service to match demand for new solutions with ready-to-scale innovations. Most importantly, the Central Support Unit helps RIL\'s Country Labs, Affiliate Facilities and Pop-Up projects through fundraising, technical assistance and the design and maintenance of fit-for-purpose systems, tools and resources.

ABOUT MAX VIEILLE

I am the Global Director of the Response Innovation Lab (RIL). Before joining RIL, I have worked for a UN agency (Unicef), NGOs (Save the Children, CRS, IIE), and private contractors. I have specialized in Emergency Response, MEAL, DRR and Strategic Planning in global and field-based positions, particularly in Haiti and Madagascar. These days, my focus is on humanitarian innovation systems. I am a member of the Steering Committee of the Smart Communities Coalition, a Google SDG Accelerator Mentor and a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on the New Agenda for Fragility and Resilience.
