In that role, I worked cross-functionally with Account Executives and internal teams to identify new opportunities, deeply understand customer pain points, and create thoughtful entry points into larger strategic conversations. That experience sharpened my ability to qualify opportunities, communicate value clearly, and build trust early in the sales cycle, skills that continue to shape how I operate as an AE today.My professional journey began in journalism as News Director for our award-winning campus news station, UATV. Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment taught me how to communicate effectively, think quickly, and adapt under pressure. I learned how to be personable, concise, and always prepared.
