About Max Resnik
Storytelling and relationship building are at the core of what I do professionally, and it’s these skills that have allowed me to find success in two vastly different arenas. After earning my BS in Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, I spent 10 years in broadcast news, where I covered everything from natural disasters to economic development initiatives and presidential visits. My ability to connect with people from all walks of life and earn their trust to tell their stories resulted in a fulfilling and award-winning career, including three Emmys.In 2020, I stepped away from news to take a leap of faith – an opportunity to put those storytelling and relationship building skills to different use. As an executive search consultant, I’m responsible for business development and client management as well as candidate research, sourcing and outreach. I lead clients and candidates through the hiring process, including interview preparation and debrief, salary negotiation and resignation coaching.
