As a Customer Assistant in the M&S Food Hall team, I gained new skills in stock management, looking after customers and following retail protocols. I developed my customer service skills by engaging with customers personally and giving insightful, helpful and accurate product information. I took pride in serving customers and keeping the fridges/shelves fully stocked, often going the extra mile to ensure standards were met and exceeded, and handling cash when operating the tills. Working daily with quality products has given me insight into the supply chain and an interest in product development.
