With experience in educational planning, STEM, enrollment processes, and classroom instruction, I am committed to fostering success for all students.Counseling ExperienceI currently serve as an Adjunct Counselor in General Counseling at Los Angeles Harbor College, where I provide comprehensive academic advising to a diverse student body. My role involves personalized guidance on course selection, degree planning, and meeting transfer requirements, as well as supporting students\' personal growth, academic performance, and career development. Additionally, I assist students in navigating financial aid and scholarships, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources to achieve their educational goals.At Long Beach City College, I work as an Adjunct Counselor for the Phoenix Scholars program, supporting gang-impacted youth and young adults with culturally responsive counseling. My role includes one-on-one case management counseling, developing educational plans, and offering drop-in counseling sessions to address unique student challenges. I also develop educational plans for first-year students and provide STEM-focused academic advising.Community College Teaching ExperienceAs a Dual Enrollment Instructor at Los Angeles Harbor College, I develop and teach a comprehensive college counseling curriculum to high school and middle school students.
