As a Senior Product Manager at Flexport, I lead the product vision and roadmap for our core Ocean Planning and Optimization capabilities. I bridge the gap between commercial market demands, complex freight forwarding needs, and technical execution by leading 4 dedicated engineering teams alongside design, data science, and operations specialists.Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities:Ocean Domain Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for Ocean Planning, deeply understanding the commercial market, competitive landscape, and logistics tech.Product Strategy & Roadmap: Work closely with customers, internal operators, and business stakeholders to translate NVO and BCO shipment needs into a high-impact, data-driven product roadmap.Software & Tool Development: Oversee the development of critical logistics products, including Rate Management systems, Sailing Schedules, and shipment optimization engines.Atlas Software: Lead the strategy for our public-facing Atlas software, delivering deep, actionable insights into global ocean schedules, ports, routes, and vessel tracking.Cross-Functional Execution: Make data-driven decisions and guide 4 engineering teams, collaborating closely with data scientists to leverage AI and machine learning for predictive analytics and advanced shipment optimization.
