About Max Lachut
As a volunteer researcher at Upstate Medical University, I contribute to the development of new methods for delivering drugs to treat severe infections and breathing problems. I use various lab techniques such as dual luciferase assays, western blotting, transfections, PCR, cloning, mRNA delivery, BCA protein concentration assays, and MTT assays. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Science triple major in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Neuroscience, with a minor in Business at Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences, where I am expected to graduate in May 2027. I have completed courses in Python, HTML, and CSS from Codecademy, enhancing my coding skills. Additionally, I am the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Student Government Association. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to advance medical research and improve public health.
