About Max Holstrom
I’m currently a student at Washington State University studying business with a focus on how money, markets, and decisions drive real-world results. I chose this path because I’ve always been interested in understanding how people and companies grow their money and make smarter decisions. What really draws me in is the mix of strategy and numbers—being able to analyze a situation, make a call, and actually see the outcome. I enjoy working in environments where effort translates directly into results. During my time at WSU, I’ve been building my skills both in and out of the classroom. As a member of the F.I.R.E. Club at WSU, I’ve had the chance to learn more about investing, markets, and different career paths while connecting with other students who have similar goals. I’ve also worked in fast-paced jobs that required strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. These experiences have helped me become more disciplined, detail-oriented, and confident in professional settings. I’m currently looking to gain hands-on experience through internships where I can continue learning and apply what I’ve studied. Looking ahead, I’m working toward a career where I can analyze data, make strategic decisions, and help drive growth for a company or clients. I’m especially interested in roles like financial analyst, investment analyst, or working in wealth management. I’m excited to keep developing my skills, learn from experienced professionals, and take on new challenges that will help me grow both personally and professionally.
