ABOUT MAX HOFERT

I\'m currently building a non-traditional addiction recovery startup called Romp. We\'re creating a community product that connects folks in recovery for IRL outdoor activities, as an alternative means to fight alcohol and drug addiction.I got sober 11 years ago, and skateboarding saved my life. It gave me the support, community, and accountability I needed to stop drinking liquor everyday, and now, I want to help other struggling addicts rewire their addictions into positive life-changing experience. 5 years ago I started a branding and web studio called Max Hofert Design. This is what gave me the entrepreneurial itch, and as we helped build over 30 startups closely with founders, I began to start my own ventures. My branding studio works with clients across tech and CPG to help them create super fans, with our main focus being brand strategy, brand identity, custom websites, and apps. We work with startups, fortune 100\'s, and everything in between.We\'ve generated 9-figures in ROI for our partners, which is something I\'m really proud of our team for. I\'ve started 4 businesses, 3 of which still exist today. Building businesses gives me adrenaline. There\'s no one to hold your hand or tell you what to do. It\'s extremely challenging, but 30+ years of skateboarding has given me a psychotic drive.Thanks for reading this. You\'re pretty awesome.
