I have been in the injection molding industry for over 30 years. Starting out as a model maker for AMP Inc, I quickly moved to design and engineering of injection molds. During this time, I was also trained to quote new projects which led into a management position. New training was always available to me and I took every opportunity to increase my skills and knowledge. Some of the formal training which included hundreds of hours of classroom settings included: FMEA, DFM, PPAP, RJG Systematic Molding, Auditor Training for Management, KPI Development, Kaizen’s, Lean Manufacturing, MS Projects, Solid Works, and more…… In the past 22 years have held positions as Sr. Tooling Engineer, Value Stream Manager & Program Manager. I can be an active member who hits the ground running in any group you put me in, from Tool Engineering to Program Management. I would take an active role, if desired, to train the next level of associates as well.
