The main purpose of my job is to ensure Crosley has the highest quality furniture at competitive prices from the most reliable sources, all over the world. In order to do this I must be hands on with all of our products. It is a necessity to be available around the clock to communicate with our team and partners throughout all parts of the globe-Oversee product development, sourcing, and quality control teams in Asia -Build and Maintain Relationships with over 25 factories -Sourcing new suppliers and products from North China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia -Keep up with latest government regulations and ensure all product is compliant -Work directly with larger customers to ensure product is up to their standards - Coordinate with customer service to determine customer and internal spare part needs / Implement needs and request with factories - Review Preproduction samples and reports -Manage “Request for Quotes” from USA Sales and Product Development Teams - Choose appropriate supplier to sample conceptual products - Work with sales team and customers to tweak products to meet customer needs - Finalize samples and negotiate pricing for Purchase Orders - Negotiate product times with suppliers
